Macaron
Being kind in the face of danger is braver than you think.
Being the single egg from her parents' clutch, Macaron was treated with great love and compassion and it was those traits that shaped her into the dragon she is today.
As a hatchling, Macaron spent a lot of time playing outside with the wildlife around her. Born into the Southern Icefield, admittedly there wasn't a ton of animals who lived and thrived there. But the creatures who did could depend upon the curious young dragon to feed and care for them. Getting her mother's grace and patience, Macaron soon grew to be called the creature tamer in her home clan. As all young dragons will do, the urge to see the world and leave home came to Macaron, albeit earlier than it did most. Though her parents worried for her, they knew they could not hold her home forever [though her father would beg to differ] and so gave their blessing for her to go off. Macaron explored mostly around the Southern Icefield at first. Though she did not want to admit it, leaving home did scare her a little. But she was not alone. As she worked her way through the region of her home, her creature friends accompanied her. They defended her when need be and made sure she wasn't sad and lonely. She happened upon a stoic Nocturne named Keiko as she wandered. At first she was perceived as a threat, having such a large group of creatures with her, but after quickly reassuring they were friends not foe, the two were able to talk peacefully. It made Keiko happy to hear of the young dragon's life and passions for the future. She decided to extend the olive branch and invite her to join her clan. They could use an eager dragon around to lift spirits and give them a reason to smile or laugh. Macaron couldn't believe her luck! She found a new home to live in with no real trouble. Her only condition was her friends were to live there with her. It was a simple request and Keiko was happy to agree to it. Besides, it would be nice to have more Familiars around. So Macaron and her friends joined The Rose Floe clan and she began her new life. Despite not travelling too far from home, she was happy she was here. She writes home frequently to stop her parents from worrying about her and constantly goes out from the clan to find more Familiars. It's thanks to her that every dragon in the clan has one and enjoys the company of their little friend. She has slowly begun leaving the Southern Icefield to go explore other regions and find new creatures to befriend. |
