Biography

Backstory

When he was still a Guardian dragon in a Lightning clan, Shahin felt there was nothing for him there and left on his Search when he was old enough to fly away. He visited many places, all with no real interest or need of his presence. When he came to the wild lands watched over by the Gladekeeper, Shahin found himself observing a large chunk of land that looked to be a good place to rest. Much to his surprise, when he landed, he was met with a rather prickly little Fae who told him that if he was going to be by her lair, then he should do his part to keep it safe. He saw how close she was living to the larger trees called the Shrieking Wilds and heard about how dangerous it was within those trees. His presence seemed to fend off the smaller of offenders and with his help, the little Fae Nuellen thanked him with a few gifts of food.

His Search seemed to come to an end when Nue stuck around to get to know him and mend her wounds. This little creature was kind, yet feisty enough to keep him interested and made her his Charge. As he continued to protect her, his fondness of her grew into a love, and soon they were mates. He now sees the entire clan as his charge and responsibility to care for. With Nuellen's discovery of two unusual scrolls, he was happier than ever when they were suddenly changed into a species of dragon that made them the same size. He still sees himself as a Guardian at heart and remains the protector of the clan and its lair.

Personality

Shahin is a go-getter, happy to chat and be the one to make the first move. Sometimes he likes to tease when someone's scales get ruffled and his laid back attitude causes him to take most slights easily and in stride. If ever there was a music-lover, Shahin would be at the forefront, enjoying all the lively sounds music can make.

Notes

Thanks to Shahin's teasing nature, he attracted the attention of a Trickster who attempts many times to get him to take his jokes to the next level. However, Shahin's sense of responsibility keeps himself and his companion in line.
