Laiken enjoys flying far more than swimming unlike others of his flight. This trait makes him the perfect candidate for clan messenger. It was during one of his rounds that he met Ace...or rather collided into him. After the both of them scurried to collect every paper and package that was dropped in the accident, Laiken became Ace's charge. He originally viewed this as an arrangement that would hopefully prevent any future incidents, but grew to love his rather clumsy protector. The two have since become mates, and adopted a hatchling to raise as their son, Clover. Laiken is a bit snarky and pretentious, but he deeply cares for those he loves most.
