Eidothea

First hour out of the nest, and young Eidothea is already scampering around and showing up places she could not possibly have known she was needed. Somehow. Extremely curious, she is always sticking her nose places it probably shouldn't be and TELLING her clan-mates things. Only hours before her brother took a tumble a tree he had been trying to climb, she had been pestering various clan-members into leaving soft things at its base. And Orphea looked up from tuning her lyre to find her crouching beside her with a smooth line of sinew hanging delicately from her mouth just as one of her strings broke. Most worrying is her insistance that something Very Very Bad is going to happen somewhere to the Northwest Very Soon. She won't tell anyone how she knows.

Vuko seems to be watching her closely and Bryant plays especially close attention to her.

Creeping silently away from her mother, little Eidothea drifts ever closer to the Very Interesting gaggle of chattering dragons. She knows she shouldn't be wandering so far from her family, but the game they are playing just looks so fun! It's like Knowing! Only in the past! She wonders if she can do that, too. She lingers at the outskirts of the group, waiting for the Right Time to try to push her way through. She IS very small.

She is fascinated by Azriel's glowing feathers, and it's only after staring for a few moments that she blurts out: 'It's The Scar! I think it's the scar one! Option one!'

Growing more and more excited--this IS fun!--she turns to the next dragon. To the beautifully glimmering Banshee she asks if she can feels things over her hard shiny scales, or if she is also impervious to sensation (3). She pauses when she turns to Blacklift, cocks her head. 'Are you a treasure-counter because you Know things (3)?' She stays for a while, watching the proceedings and always sticking very close to the tiny Fae. Eventually she perks up, announces that Mother is Looking For Her, and scampers off. She is TOTALLY going to come back tomorrow! Even if she has to drag her mother along to do it!

Eidotheia sleeps with her parents for the first time in... a very long time. She cries quietly, trying not to disturb them. Vuko had said... Vuko had said...

Something is... off, and she can't for the life of her figure out what it is. Her visions have been remarkably silent, only a niggling sense of wrongness.

She's not sure what it means.
