Notes:
  • Lost her right eye in service to the Lightweaver, who blessed her with an eye of pure Light, capable of discerning Lies from Truth, and Light from Shade, in return from her devotion.
  • After that, she was posted as a Specialist to the Host of Light's Central Hewn City Outpost during the Beastclan War to aid them in their skirmishes against the Shade, seeing as she now had become uniquely suited to the role.
  • Stayed in the Clan after their formal secession from the Host, despite keeping her spot as a Specialist for the Host, and is "keeping an eye on the Clan for the Lightweaver". Or so she says. She mostly just uses it as an excuse to stay and still keep her wows of service to the Lightweaver.
  • The Lightweaver seems okay with this excuse, though, as her Blessed eye is still working as it should and her magic hasn't turned against her, which is the fate imposed on oathbreakers.
  • She still receives orders every now and then, though, to aid in one campaign, skirmish or other that could use her expertise. Most often, though, these orders are accompanied by a heavy treasure pouch and a letter requesting the employment of some of the Outpost Clan's Mercenaries, so it is a rare occasion when she has to set out alone.
  • Bergljot is very arrogant, which chafes on some, but it is offset by the fact that she is also very kind, honest and willing to help and defend others.
  • Sice she's so arrogant, it might not seem like it... but she secretly likes everyone. Except for Nattr and Hugleika, the Abominations. She sees them as a necessary evil, though, and grudgingly tolerates them. And Alviss, who is perhaps a bit too similar to her; they're constantly in each other's faces, hissing and growling about something or other.
  • Knows Light Law by heart, sometimes helps/interferes with Frigga's work. Most of the time, Frigga doesn't mind; it's useful to have a living lie detector around.
  • Bergljot's name means "rescue light".
