Would you begrudge me these winter diamonds?

They are just lovely, aren't they? More beautiful and complex than any gem. Colder than the touch of the grave. And ice is a much more loyal friend in death, isn't it? It will stay with you. Those diamonds of yours will wander off in the pockets of thieves, turned up by shovels and time. Not my jewels, oh no. If you touch them, your skin will burn with the cold. You'll blacken and crumble. But, not me and not him.

But that's because we're meant for this. Meant for beauty and perfection and winter.

You, on the other hand, could not endure such cold.
