Nestol is a travelling manipulator, giving advice to kings, queens, leaders, and warlords across Sorneith. He used his intelligence and methods to gain influence in the clan, then steal away in the night with his spoils to find a new conquest.

He stumbled into Aura's clan after running from a tribe that learned of his deception, and begged her for sanctuary. Nestol, while still manipulative, has a grudging respect for Aura's kindness - and a strong fear of her mate Brutus. He still relies on subterfuge and more subtle means of influence, and strategic alliances with other less noble dragons.
