It was in early spring that a pair of young nocturnes came crawling from the ruins of the Hewn city, a pure white male with deep red eyes, and a female with crystalline yellow scales and possessed by shade. It was Lianne who stumbled upon them, and the Coatl was quick to dismiss them; but others in the hunting party were undeterred. In the end it was Ignis who took them, carrying the tiny young dragons in his claws, back to the radiant cove. Despite being a dragon of plague the male settled in quickly, but it took a long time for the tiny female to adjust to the light and be banished of her infection.

But, alas, with the help of no small amount of Sacridite, she was mostly purified; but there's still something deeply unsettling about her. Even though she's mostly been released from the shade's grasp, she still finds the light of the sun to be painful, and as such spends most of her time in the lair's cave system during the day. The shade has also had influences on her personality, she's short and abrupt and has a mean streak a mile wide, but Mel has a calming influence on her when they're together. It is said that every so often one can see something dark twisting inside her, tendrils of black beneath her deep golden eyes and radiant scales.

Despite her foul temper, Morte is an excellent healer; but getting her to actually consent to healing you is a challenge.
