She fought for so long. Surviving with her pale colors out in the heat in the ashfall waste is no easy task. There's been long, drawn out nights where the dark never came - kept at bay by the light emitting from the volcanos all around - where she had to cover her skin in the grey soot covering the ground.
She's proud. Unbreakable. So those horrid times where she had to hide? never again she whispers to herself, her eyes growing into small, determined slits.
And hopefully she'll never have to. She fought to get her buisness established and now it's thriving.
Her hands have done unspekable things in the name of survival, but now, they'll only craft beauty. It's a promise she has to make to herself over and over again sometimes.
She works mostly in gorgeous fabrics. Creating lovely, flowey garments - veils perfect for the harsh climate, dresses so fine and beautiful it's hard to grasp, jewelry and accesories - selling and trading them so she'll never again have to cling to life with a desperate grasp. She's growing and thriving, even after all that's happened.
