Windcarve_Harpy.png 		Varatheela is a strong and lovely dragon, her frills mesmerize the steeliest of hearts and gazes often lose themselves in her deep wings. At the touch, her scales feel like silk and appear to be made of light lace and seafoam. Her golden armor protects her small, stout body and her massive wings carry her effortlessly through battle.

Varatheela is a gift from the Rising Tides clan, and very coveted personally by leader Asala. Although she was not the first of this clan, the instinct to lead runs through her veins, a persona passed down from her mother. Because of her closeness to Asala, and that she was deemed to lead when the matriarch was away, she became known as "Sister Theela" among clan's members. The nickname originally spawned from a hatchling's babbling and stuck from then on.

She is often in the company of a harpy woman named Astaarit, who is a close friend and partner in battle. "Rit", as she is commonly known as, took care of Asala's first clutch along with her two sisters. It is unknown why this small family of harpy help the dragon clans, but it is understood that the Rising Tides has many connections.
Varatheela eventually found her mate in a tall male named Hissra, and the two happily sit next to Sataareth and Asala in the large central den of the cove's cave. Varatheela was hesitant at first, but gave in inevitably to Hissra's charm, and produced their first clutch of three. She was ecstatic and happy to have such beautiful children, and continues to produce many clutches in between fighting for dominance.
