Biography
Aurelius is the son of Zideru and the great-great-grandson of Chakra, a Fae; his mother, Ayurna, is the great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Arrabbiata, a Tundra. Both Zideru and Ayurna have gone to serve the Lightweaver, as have his clutchmates Halley and Crimsonwarrior. Aurelius, however, believes that his vocation is to serve one of the Lightweaver's faithful clans, and further that this vocation was confirmed by the glow his crystalline scales and shimmering wings began to radiate upon his arrival in his new clan. The glow faded almost nine months after his arrival, just in time for him to stumble across a mysterious scroll; he read it, of course, and strange stripey patterns traced themselves along his spine.
Much, much later, as the clan recovered from the injuries and repaired the damage incurred during Light's narrow loss to Earth, a fangar like Quarta's was gifted to the clan. Unlike hers, it was golden, and bred for its purr; it took an immediate liking to Aurelius. The Grasslands Trunker that Aurelius had rescued from the dinner queue is still safe with Aurelius and Gordon (the Fangar), of course, but now sometimes the requisite cuddles are bestowed by Gordon rather than Aurelius.
