Darius began his life in a clan very different from the one he currently inhabits. Though his birth clan is so nearby in the same flight territory, he has never felt the urge to visit. Part of him is afraid of what he might find there. At a young age, he became discontented with his life. The monotony of each day, and the quiet prickly unfriendliness of his clanmates. All his life he felt he never belonged there, and never really made friends within the other dragons. It took him a very long while to make up his mind, but eventually he decided to leave. Finding himself alone for the first time in his life, he knew he didn't want to leave the wind territories. He may have hated life in his last clan, but he was a wind dragon through and through. He would never want to be anywhere else. Just three miles east, carved into the a grassy hillside beneath Cloudsong was what seemed to be a dragon's lair. Or... many dragons by the noises he could hear emitting from behind the heavy wooden door. The knocked once, twice, and before he could knock a third time, the door was thrown open by three tiny skydancer hatchlings. "Hello Hello!" They squeaked. "Momma! There's a guest at the door!" After a moment, a small female Skydancer appeared in a far doorway. "Come in out of the cold!" She called. "Come and join the feast!" Darius followed her and the tiny hatchlings and came to a massive hall filled with countless dragons sitting around a table, seemingly eating their nightly meal. Though he was a stranger there, oddly enough, they welcomed him like an old friend, and so has remained ever since.
