actually the same age as inachus, now only a bit smaller (inches ignores this)
surprisingly good fighter - for about 5 minutes
stumbled upon the huge mortarion while "looking for an adventure" when he was young (still a babe)
imagine him suddenly skidding to a stop in the face of a looming shadow against the sun, with inachus suddenly dashing forward, thinking gideon in danger
mortarion merely snorts and lumbers off, casually killing and eating a huge prey (idfk) in front of them
gideon's eyes sparkle at his new idol and beings hopping after him, inachus following cautiously all the way back to the lair
urta takes them both in with a coo

river flight familiar assigned because always quietly watches over gideon
small, so not noticed by the people gideon pisses off
