BRINEWINGS
[ CLAN LEADER ]
The One Guide

"I don't know where I came from." He reveals "My earliest memory is a field in the Zephyr Steppes where I found myself the first time I remember having opened my eyes. I came across Ashspitter not long after. She was injured and in need of help. I freed her, but couldn't save her leg." He looks tenderly at his companion, as she makes her prosthetic limb click, clawing the ground and smiling back at him. "We stuck together looking for a healer, and after that we stayed together still while I assembled the majestic paw she wears now. At that point... well. Winning team doesn't change, right? We came across a few wandering dragons in need of a home, and so the clan was founded."

Part of the original duo, Brinewings is the kind of dragon you would like to see as a leader. Caring, conforting and forgiving, but never a pushover. Someone who can make their voice heard, mend conflict and make themselves respected. He is all these things, and even more.
His greatest dream is a simple, but monumental one: raising a big, happy and loving family around him, and including in that family all the dragons belonging to the lair he is in charge of.
Proud of his appearence and unwilling to change his basic genes, Brinewings teaches all his companions how to find beauty in what others find unattractive (often accompanying this statement by pointing at his... less than desirable familiar) while at the same time not being embarassed by the modest condition of the clan. He encourages everyone around him to always try and make the best out of any situation, to believe there's always a good side.

With a guide like this, optimism is always the first attitude to assume!

Went trough a major identity crisis when conflict overtook the now much larger clan. Accomodation was hard to find, lair space was alwas a problem, business wasn't going well and newcomers constantly questioned his authority. Meanwhile his old familiar awakened and left him without a "secretary".

Found himself wondering if it was all destined to rot and perish, was also about to hand over power to a younger dragon, and also to change his own appearence in hope it would also change his image and ability to keep the clan together.

In the end, the clan's old ambassadors gathered to help him work out a solution and thus the Council was founded. No more just him and Ashspitter in charge but the whole group of Founders, fitter to represent a now wider community of dragons.

He is Head of the Council anyway, but the solution made him find new trust in his capacities.

Old bio: Part of the original duo, Brinewings is the kind of dragon you instinctively see as a leader. Caring but firm, conforting but mighty, forgiving but merciless. He is all these things, and even more.
Being the nice creature that he indeed is, he cultivates the double dream of raising a big, happy and loving family around him, and of including in that family all the dragons belonging to the lair he is in charge of.
Proud of his appearence and unwilling to change his basic genes, Brinewings teaches to all his companions how to find beauty in what others find unattractive (often accompanying this statement with the example of how he can find beauty in his familiar, thing uncomprensible for most of the lair inhabitants) while at the same time not being embarassed by modesty of condition, and try to make the best from that too.
With a guide like this, optimism is always the first attitude to assume!
