A king consort without a land over which to rule, Matheus' life has been one fraught with strife but also with great joy. Born in into relative poverty in a tropical jungle bordering the Tangled Wood and Viridian Labyrinth, as a young man he worked long hours around a potter's wheel to provide for his community. Between these trials he came to relish simple pleasures; the crack and crumble of bread from a clay oven, skimming stones along the tendril-draped river with laughing children from the village, and the lilting calls of birds into a midnight sky.

It was only by chance one day that he was watching the river roll by when he was bodily collided with by the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. A princess of a distant kingdom fleeing revolution, she desperately needed to escape further but had quickly become lost in the vastness of the ancient wood.

Without hesitation they fled together, and the once simple potter eventually married into a deposed royal family. Eventually they made a home, in soft rolling countryside and the rest, they say, is history.
Matheus, meaning Gift of God, is a popular if somewhat archaic name throughout Latin America. Much loved random progen, awaiting genes and most likely several scatterscrolls. WBfzZQ2.png
