Glowing eyes sear into your very soul when you look into them, reminding you of a saying you once heard about the abyss staring back into you when you look at it. Her optics are made out of fire itself, it seems, for they gleam with an unnatural light. Her entire body, in fact, seems to be made of heat and light. Fractals gleam off her hide, which in several places holds darkened scars where the life itself, it seems, has been stolen from her youthful flesh. Strange wings flutter as she takes the the skies, rippling, devouring the night with flames. She was whispered of among enemy ranks, the monster that parents warned their children about. She was the chaotic flame, and at the same time, passive.

However, to the many who called her friend, she was the warming light of a mothers love. Many often called her great mother, young one, the beautiful warrior. She met many and called them all brother, sister, child. They were her family, and her warm heart welcomed lords and slaves alike. Her passive demeanor was boasted about in the halls of great kings. She settled disputes that would take months in only days, and treated everyone fairly.

The juxtaposition of her character forced her to constantly seek out new things, forever unsatisfied with what life had to offer. And so she wandered into the desolate ruination of the Plaguelands, a void wherein you came to fight or to die. Survival here was unimaginable to most dragons and only the bravest walked into the central lands alive. The greatest test of her wisdom and strength would happen here, she knew. After stepping into the wastelands there was no turning back, and so it came to be that she wandered for months upon months, fighting and starving and finding salvation and moving on, a constant test of wit keeping her alive.

In the midst of her travels she wandered here, to a shady and meagerly prosperous place where many held her views. She had met a handful here and there who shared a few things with her, but this was unimaginable. A clan where everyone was equal, where no true leader told anyone how to act, where everyone was family and loved. She knew that she'd found what she was looking for all along, and vowed to protect them always.
