Lair Keeper

When hatched from an abandoned egg, alone and lost in the Hewn City. As a young dragonling he wandered through the ruins under the dark shade, encountering no one and surviving on old twigs and dry bark from withered plants. He was eventually found by others of the Light flight and taken under-wing. But many other acolytes of the flight whispered of the touch of shade and the haunted city he came from.

Rumours grew that his dull colours were a product of his birth, and that the young Tundra was marked by the land he had hatched in, a child of the broken city.

When paid little heed to these rumours, carrying on in his studies to become an archaeologist. His endless curiosity leads him ever on a quest to find not only his heritage, but the true history behind the broken city he had woken to the world in.

Unfortunately, When was born infertile, and would never have children of his own. But rather than seeing this as a curse of the barren city he was born in, he chooses to see it as a blessing, allowing him to put all of his focus into his studies, rather than a family. Though he does wonder where he came from, life without parents was never a trouble for When, as he has always put his focus into his studies, instead.
