Why is fate so cruel? Jinx has been with Wren since they were about 6 years old. They met while Wren was traveling to find another familiar. She stopped to see the local circus group perform, and fell for Jinx at first sight. He was fascinated by how mature she was at such a young age. Since he was an orphan already, he decided to follow her and help however he could. The journey was an interesting one. He learned how flawed and beautiful Wren could be. How broke she was. She was just born that way. But he did everything he could to help her not feel broken. He is just an honest and kind soul. He fell for her a few months into their journey when he finally realized he didn't want to just protect her, but to make her his and only his. The amount of emotion they both had as children surprised everyone. They seemed like old souls that called to each other. Almost like they were meant to be together. Most described them as soulmates with horrible fates. Especially when everyone realized she couldn't age. Her mind grew older along with Jinx but her body stayed young and youthful. The realization that he would die before her was a harsh one. Wren spiraled horribly after that... |

The day that Wren and Jinx figured out she didn't age was etched into his memory. They had been traveling for a few years, gaining a small clan of misfits as they went. Wrens control of blood wasn't yet good. Jinx began to wonder why she wasn't aging... Why he was growing old and she wasn't. It didn't quite click in both their heads till someone commented on it. From that point on, Wren changed... It wasn't until it was almost to late that Wren figured out how to freeze a dragonss age. Jinx was an old man, and she still a youthful child. Their relationship was looked on in scorn and disgust. But she had saved him from deaths clutches. That was all she cared about. Those of the clan understood and loved them all the same. Even after rebuilding the clan. You would have to become apart of the clan to truly understand their struggles. Take the rite of passage and undergo the ritual and all would be understood. Till then, most judged without knowing. Jinx is pretty much the only one who can control Wren when she blacks out. Her rages are all consuming. She almost never remembers what happens... But Jinx is her rock. He keeps her steady. So he must be calm. Always. |

Blood Power
Jinx's power over blood consists of controlling cards and generally being able to pump up his own physical abilities. He has accelerated healing and is able to somewhat help others with minor cuts and bruises since he has experience with those things. The blood he uses to move the cards he keeps blue, so as to not seem as scary to the children. Its when the cards become drenched in red blood that one should be worried. You have just succeeded in rattling his iron control. Run.
