The peace must be kept, always. With each passing day, he still remembers what war leaves behind. He vividly recalls the warmth of the rubble; the thickness of the smokey air. The ruptured silence, then nothing at all. The warrior's armour was sickeningly beautiful, glinting slyly against the high moon. He can still feel the dampness of the reeds that hid him away from the fiery crisis. His memories are fragmented; a faint echo of his father, a hazy whisper of his mother. He's gazing at the moon now, caught in the undertow of what could have been, what should have been. The peace must be kept, always.
