With the sun's glow receding beyond the great mountains, she sits upon a hillock, basking in the soft golden shine. Scanning the rocky plain below, a sense of acomplishment washes over her. The hatchlings are playing in the dusty valleys, and the hunters return from The Viridian Labyrinth, tired but proud. A dry wind passes over the expanse; grains of sand become knotted in her coat. Her head lays down on the ground as the sun disappears. She sleeps now, silent and peaceful, awaiting the sun's promise to rise again another day.
