Houngan deals in magic for profit; if you need a spell, he's got some of the most powerful ones there are - but only if the price is right. An enigmatic dragon, you're more likely to hear his deep, bellowing laugh than his voice: he doesn't speak much, and mostly talks in riddles when he does. Some say he only manages to keep his clan together because he's got some sort of magical control over them, but all of his clan-members have nothing but praise to speak of him. Perhaps it's fear that keeps them in line, however if you ask his daughters Mojo and Cheval they might let you in on the fact that he's just a big sweetheart.

His wife, Mysty, spent a great deal of time initially avoiding his advances; it wasn't until after the sisters were born to Dellinger that she finally relented, if for no reason other than the girls needed a proper mother. (Dellinger's feral ways were far from the traditional child-rearing that Mysty was accustomed to.) Houngan worships the ground she walks on, often leaving her small tokens of his affection - especially the shiny gemstones she so loves to collect, all the while amused by the knowledge that she'll roll her eyes and grumble at his tribute, but keep them just the same. Yet while their relationship seems to be built on friendly bickering and playful animosity, they are undoubtedly one of the most powerful teams in all of the Ashfall Wastes - and their magic is thrice so when they work their spells together.
