Winona had a happy childhood. She knew early on that she wanted to learn the healing arts, and her family supported her wholeheartedly. Winona used the large libraries of the Sunbeam Ruins to her advantage, and took up apprenticeships with some of the territory's best healers. After she was granted the rank of Master Healer by the local Medical Guild, Winona decided to travel the world and heal those who didn't have easy access to good medical care. Winona is now based in Starfall; the unusual maladies and extensive libraries of arcane knowledge keep her here for professional reasons. Her mate, Tourmaline, and her many friends in the clan keep her here for personal reasons. Still, Winona and Tourmaline regularly travel around Sornieth to treat the less fortunate.
