From the very beginning, the odds of this youngling's survival were not in their favor. The lair that had spawned them was obliterated by Beastclan forces, and in the chaos that had ended it's birthclan, the shell of it's egg had been cracked, it's lifeforce dimming and drawing closer to the dark brink of death with every second. Surely, had it been left in the heap of flesh and debris it was found on, it would have very quickly joined it's siblings... but, as it would so happen, a passing General happened upon the egg and took pity the writhing form contained within. Carefully picking up the fractured egg and cradling it in his maw, he tentatively made the long journey back to the lair. However, even as he did so, he doubted that the fledgling inside would see the light of day. After all, who would blame them for not wanting to enter a world as cruel as this? A world that would rob a mere hatchling of everything before they had even taken their first breath? Little did he realize that for all the tragedy surrounding this newborn fate had given her something in return: enough luck, tenacity, and strength to beat the odds ten-fold.
