If Rafiel is the dragon responsible for carefully planned buys and recruits only the hardiest of dragons to his MAN-CLAN, just who is responsible for the fact that the clan's nearly always broke? The answer lies in Sir Cuit - all impulse buys may be ultimately traced back to some form of interaction with him, and he's often in trouble with his clan leader because of it. He thinks himself a decent speaker, however, and is at least smooth enough a talker that he has been able to placate Manly McBro's annoyance for the most part.

It's not all avoiding him, though that's a lot of it - to compensate his reputation for his terrible crime of spending money that doesn't always exist, he has one of the most important jobs in the clan. Whenever he returns from his adventures, the first thing Sir Cuit will always do is to name the clan's newer MENBERS after those MAN-PUNS he uncovers on his quest for even more impulse buys Really Tough Dragons.

Therefore, this whole lair of very silly MANLY names is completely his fault. At least it's a MASCULINE crime, though, and so his reputation isn't completely in shreds.
