 Once determined that she'd never settle down, Saradne made the mistake of falling in love with a Snapper who was willing to give up the stability he had always had for her. Try as she might, she couldn't convince herself to move on, away from him. He made her happy... And so, when the two landed in Lightning and accidentally fell in with a clan, she made the decision to stay there, keep them with the tribe.

Marivaunt noticed quickly how impatient she was, how trapped she seemed, so he asked her to step up and start scouting for the clan. It allowed her to travel, for as long as she'd like and to wherever she liked, and still return home to her love, to her new clan.

Eventually, Saradne was joined by Lycaon, a small Fae. Lycaon's passion for cartography matched up well with Saradne's scouting, and the two became partners. Lycaon's loyalties to the clan's other Faes meant that they returned home a bit more frequently, helping keep Saradne on a sort of schedule, which eased up the few tensions rising between Alru and herself.

Saradne is flighty and impatient, easily feeling trapped and frustrated. She delights in adventure, in new places, new discoveries.
