BIO :
If you point to any place on a map, chances are that Jesper has probably been there, done that, at some point in his life. For each place he visited, Jesper has endorsed a dozen new names and identities.
He was taken in by a circus owner one night, in the recesses of a nondescript town, where scum fought for dominance and nobody cared for the fate of a lowly thief. Mechiras offered him a shelter in the Wandering Circus if he could prove his worth.
Contrary to popular belief, Jesper's stage name is not a jibe to his birth flight, which he either doesn’t remember or refuses to talk about. Rather, it’s a reference to his dazzling colors and the magnificent sight they provide mid-cartwheels, as on stage, he's the only acrobat ‘Batty’ enough to rival with the overexcited spirals.
The wary esteem he held for their tyrannical master soured into hatred as he slowly discovered the sinister designs behind the Circus’ marvels.
During one of his errands, Jesper met a young city-dwelling Fae, who lived a strange life and loved travelling almost as much as he did. They quickly became friends, and Jesper grew bolder and bolder, using the errands the master assigned him as an excuse to venture further away from the Circus, into new lands, and to spy on Mechiras’ lackeys, despite the troupe’s increasing irritation with his absence during rehearsals. It was only a matter of time before the imperial noticed his little scheme.
