The Comtesse was the first to arrive from another clan. She does not divulge much about her early life. The Baron and Mem found her a little melancholy at first, but after a while she warmed up to the Baron's bombastic nature and Mem's kind regard. She is the mother of many hatchlings-- most of whom are utterly devoted to her and would not leave the clan for all the world.

Mercedes is the paragon of grace and empathy. Her elegant flower arrangements are admired by the whole clan. Her grandson, Jericho, helps her tend the gardens. Every so often he'll find her standing under the grape vines, staring into a place beyond the sky she'll never reach. These spells don't last too long, however, especially if Lady Amalthea keeps her company.
