_Inkblob_

____Inkblobs are dragons created out of pure darkness, their essence pulled directly from the Shadowmother herself. They are naturally gifted in Shadow magic and the dark arts. Inkblobs are born with an addiction to black magic that causes them to act chaotically (often because of pain from withdrawals), wreaking havoc and destruction wherever they go. They are sometimes considered feral or evil by other dragons. However, an Inkblob raised around regular dragons (especially if they are removed from the Shadowbinder's territory) will regain their common sense and begin to act more rationally as they are allowed to recover from their addiction.

_Biography_

____Odin could no more stop practicing dark magic than he could breathe. He came from it, and he lived it; it was his every fibre of being. Born into a clan of Shadow mages, he was encouraged to utilize his gifts from the the earliest time he could remember. His only regret was the damage he did to innocents in his fits of madness.

____The worst of these occurred in his youth, when he came into contact with a Shade-touched artifact and sought to use it in his spells.
It woke in him a frenzy that carried him all the way into the Sunbeam Ruins, where he wreaked havoc in the Hewn City. His first memory after losing his mind was a familiar feeling. Magic, black, forbidden, but also a warm voice, and a gentle touch. When he saw Gunnr, he knew, she was like him; a kind soul burdened with a dark gift.
