Her etiquette is always flawless, her demeanor gentle and gracious and her soft, sweet voice never raised even in moments of triumph or tumult. Blessed with extraordinary tact and poise, Orchid possesses a knack for saying precisely the right thing to the right dragon, discerning exactly what suits the time and place, and understanding when to listen and when to speak.

As such, Orchid makes an excellent ambassador for conducting negotiations, forging alliances, and studying other dragon clans' strengths and weaknesses. Carnelian was the first to see past Orchid's polite, refined exterior and perceive her steely inner strength. Far from being a shrinking violet, Orchid possesses a keen intelligence and a deep wellspring of determination and resourcefulness. So skillfully does she wield her weapons of subtlety and subterfuge that very few ever realize how she manipulated and influenced them. Despite Orchid's often unusual and underhanded methods, Carnelian trusts her implicitly to do right by the clan, a trust that Orchid repays with unfailing loyalty and devotion.

In her spare time, Orchid enjoys flower-arranging, reading poetry and literature, solving riddles and logic puzzles, and playing chess, in which she currently holds a 49-55 record against Chrysanthemum.
