Arkose only became the official clan seamstress after much trial and error. She taught herself how to craft garments; many of her earlier creations were awful but as her skills improved they became quite beautiful. Her garments are now used as wares to be traded or sold to other clans, as well as to clothe her clan mates. She comes into contact with Ferritic frequently to discuss pricing and demand therefore they have developed a close working relationship.

Her favourite color is white but she absolutely hates making garments that are white, preferring to use colors that remind her of the surrounding forests. She prefers to draw inspiration from nature for her crafts, often incorporating floral patterns and natural dyes. Oddly enough, she has a horrible sense of style which tends to make her clan mates snicker. Since Terne has become her friend her style has improved slightly veering more towards 'plain' than 'odd'.

Despite remaining in the same clan as her father they do not have a close relationship. She laments the fact that he became cold and closed off after her mother's exaltation. She feels deeply hurt by his abandonment and has slowly come to resent him. She does not trust as freely now that she has been hurt by someone who should have been their for her no matter what.

She became friends with Terne after they tried to negotiate a sale. The discussion ended in a gifted apron and two teary-eyed girls. They bonded over past pains and have acted as support for each other, pushing each other to recover and grow as people.
