Story

_{An ancient spirit given form at the claws of the Windsinger, Tiali has been charged with the care of the Wayward Winds clan from the moment they set foot on the Windswept Plateau. Her territory is where Zaia and her weary clan settled, and where she made herself known to the fledgling clan rising from the ashes of their old life. In this first contact, she not only granted her blessing to the clan to stay in her lands, but also unintentionally gave them their new name.

Since then, she has become a pillar of the clan. Though she has not asked or been asked to join their ranks officially, she is as much a part of the family as Nix or Maudy. Even newer members of the Wayward Winds who do not know her history with the clan, or barely know her at all, say that the clan would not be the same without the Skydancer.

When Ashmarr and Tyar came to the Wayward Winds—and brought with them burning winds of strife—Tiali remained outside of the conflict. But her presence was always known. When confrontations occurred between the founders and the newcomers, Tiali was always watching from her den, and many claimed they could feel her protective presence, even at a distance. She did not intervene at any point, but she was always watchful.

Since then, as the clan has settled into the beginnings of a new era, she has returned to being a quiet, background presence. She is still watching, she is still safeguarding, but she is no longer the winds before the storm.}

"I have been here since long before your wayward winds blew across this plateau, and I will be here long after they pass. But for now, while we coexist here: if ever you should want for anything, you need only ask and I shall do all in my power to grant it."

A daughter of the winds. A sister in purpose. I will teach her all I can so she may nurture a healthy, thriving clan.

Born of Fire, but a heart of Wind. Offers welcome without prejudice. She suspects my nature, but does not question. A mutual respect.

Zaia

A kindred spirit. The next generation. With her guidance will this clan shed the pains of the past.

Personality & Relationships

_{Tiali is something of an enigma. She speaks as if ancient beyond reckoning, but moves and acts as a far younger dragon. Any questions about her past before the Wayward Winds are often met with roundabout non-answers and turning the question back on the asker.

What is very well known among the clan, however, is that she is a gentle, kind dragon. Though Tiali keeps mostly to herself, if anyone comes to her with a request or concern, she will drop what she's doing and do anything she can to assist them. Some dragons have tried to abuse this nature of hers for malicious means, but Tiali is not easily fooled—whether it be her natural abilities as a Skydancer or something more, she seems to be keenly aware of the true intent of others, and does not allow her strict moral compass to be deceived.

Though she keeps her solitude, Tiali is not without friends. She is known to have an amiable relationship with Zaia, and though the two are not seen together casually, the Skydancer seems to always know when the founder is in need of her unique aid. Additionally, she has taken the young dragon, Harvest, under her wing, sensing in her a unique and beautiful spirit. Tiali encourages her to embrace the kindest, most generous parts of herself, while also teaching her to determine those who would abuse that kindness.

Though Tiali has historically remained absent from clan politics, she has taken a keen interest in Zephira—and the young Spiral seems drawn to her. Sometimes, it almost seems as if they speak without words. Whatever the nature of their relationship, it is as much a mystery as the Skydancer herself.}
