Ezekiel adores flowers and plants, and he would love to help out with the lair's garden. Sadly, his frost magic is beyond his control, and he'll often accidentally freeze plants, causing them to wilt. But still he persists. He yearns for a gorgeous garden all cared for by himself, even if for now the only thing he manages to grow is arctic scrub and moor thistle.

He often travels to the surface to search for hardy specimens for his collection. Chatty and sweet, he makes friends easily, though he finds it hard to keep in touch.

Another passion of his is storytelling. He's pretty bad at actually telling stories, but he is the most attentive listener. Still, to his dismay, he often mixes up details and struggles with memory issues. Those who take the time to get to know him a little better often find to their own confusion that it is surprisingly hard to pin down who Ezekiel really is - sometimes it's as if a switch has flipped and his personality is replaced by what one might believe to be an austere professor, puzzling his listeners with insight one would never expect, but a few minutes in he turns into a quirky hatchling or gains the air of a doting parent. He invariably returns to what is known as his usual self, but it certainly gives most dragons pause. Sometimes it feels as if he was made of stories himself, the words unraveling at times and breaking the illusion of a real dragon.
