Azathoth

Azathoth is the (recently reincarnated) BLIND IDIOT GOD who holds court in the amorphous blight of nethermost confusion at the center of all infinity, the BOUNDLESS DAEMON SULTAN whose name no lips dare speak aloud and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

But actually he knows he has some flaws, he's trying to become a better person and he would appreciate your forbearance.

He has a pet mouse that he sets on fire every day and then revives it with his daemon-sultan powers. He actually made the mouse immune to pain a long time ago when another dragon pointed out that he was being a total douchecanoe to the mouse for no reason. The mouse now enjoys being on fire and eagerly awaits his daily immolation so he can cavort around the amorphous blight of nethermost confusion etc. and set things on fire.

At some point Azathoth was doing shrooms with Enki and turned his mouse into a... I don't even know what the hell that thing is. Some kind of goat/fish/snake? I don't f**king know, it seems like the kind of eldritch abomination that Azathoth might create while on shrooms. It kind of ruins the joke, because the mouse was "no more flammable than any other mouse", but since the mouse awakened it's not as profitable to bond with it everyday so... just bear with me here.

EDIT: Umm... it happened again and now it's that thing. Why does that moth have breasts? Why?

UPDATE: An era has dawned on this nameless, mismatched clan wherein the majority of the familiars are transcendent and currently hanging out in some pocket dimension they call the Vault. A few dragons have reincarnated in newer, prettier bodies. Some of the transcendent familiars have been seen flitting in and out of their sublime retreat now and then... returning to their former companions to visit and/or reminisce. In fact Azathoth's ember mouse may be making an appearance sometime soon. How exciting! It is sure to be a spectacle, indeed a prodigious... conflagration. Ehehehehehe.
