Slayder was lucky, for a guardian, as his Search was a very short one. After leaving his home clan he soon met Hollyhock, who was young, free-spirited and impulsive, just the type of dragon who needed someone to look out for them. Quickly the small fae became his charge and he spent hours just watching her fly and dazzle others with her aerial feats. This was their daily routine until the accident that kept her from the sky. After months of being by her side as she recovered he soon found the reason he knew she was his charge. She could climb onto her horns and pretend she was flying again.
