Rache

Rache is rather self-conscious about nearly everything about himself. First is his name, which seems to be something many dragons are unable to properly pronounce. Because of this, my precious Rache has taken to the simple reference of 'Ra', something I like almost as much as his name. After all, 'Ra' is a rather significant name in my books.

Young Ra is also self-conscious of his appearance. As a hatchling, the child had no problems with the way he looked. Rather, he was quite pleased with his own reflection for a long time, and even appreciated the praises he heard concerning his beautiful, shimmering wings that are complimented as well as complimenting of his iridescent scales. But now he's older, and he sees the attention to be more troubling.

Troubling, because he feels his appearance is more feminine than he is, though I know he still looks to his reflection and occasionally smiles in appreciation for his own looks. Rache is such a beautiful dragon, and others have said as much about him. But such beauty has led him to rather... uncertain attractions from other dragons, and attraction is not something Rache is confident with after speaking with Morgan. Though Morgan exudes nothing less than pride for his looks, Rache seems to be quite shy of his looks.

Perhaps spending more time with Morgan's confidence will help Rache build his own. If not that, then maybe I should find a dragon who will be patient with him, and help him realize there's nothing wrong with his beauty.
