Biography
Coriolis is the quieter of Parallax and Alizee's children, of a contemplative mindset and displaying an aptitude for understanding magic. He is the "dreamer" to his more active sister's "doer." Although the two clash in attitude, Coriolis cares for his clutchsister deeply and in fact daily dresses himself in one of his sister's old gifts when she is off adventuring. --One of these mysterious gifts, however, had some strange side effects on his coloring which Coriolis is still getting used to, feeling his new flashy hues don't match his decidedly unflashy personality and preferences. The newfound attention he finds himself getting for his flashes and ripples of bright golden coloration is decidedly uncomfortable, especially when it's coming from overly-friendly girls.
He likes to spend a lot of time sitting in the background and observing, which his sister Analemma has told him (with some acerbity) makes him resemble a statue more than anything. He takes naturally after his father in coloring. Some might mistake his quietness for shyness, but the truth is that more often he simply doesn't feel he has much to say. Get him going on a favorite subject of his, however, and his soft, dreaming green eyes will alight with enthusiasm and sudden focus, as his tail twitches up in excitement and a tidal wave of words pour from his mouth. He spends much of his time off in his own world in scholarly or artistic pursuits, and isn't always the best at "reading" other living beings as a result; and, like many fae, coatl emotions are an especially baffling enigma to him.
