  B I O G R A P H Y
Heiskinel was hatched in a Arcane clan, who directly served the Arcanist. They lived in a great building, fit with a library, lab, and various other rooms to allow each of the dragons to inquire and study. Heiskinel's family were powerful mages, and he spent his time going around with them on their daily routine, watching how they acted, and all of their magic. Heiskinel often didn't eat, and this ended up giving him a scrawny, wimpy look. He was sometimes made fun of because of his looks. He never cared. He just wanted to study. As he grew, his clanmates were surprised to see his growth of power as well. The older he got, the more powerful he became. He was still young when he was declared Arch Mage, as he grew a honorable, responsible personality along with his magical strength. He continued his work, though many grew envious of his abilities. It wasn't much longer until his power began to rival, even exceed that of his family. Heiskinel never noticed, and he didn't abuse this power of his. He often helped the others. He tutored the hatchlings in the way of magic. He defended the clan in times of trouble. He went on expeditions to discover the unknown. He gathered materials to keep the clan going. Without his strength and kindness, the clan would have dwindled and died out; instead, it flourished and expanded underneath his assistance.  |

B I O G R A P H Y
Finally, years later, his clan had grown a collective, secret fear of Heiskinel. They were afraid he secretly hated them all because of all the teasing. They were afraid he was corrupted by his power. They were afraid he wanted to force them to all work under him. This stupid, groundless fear grew. It went so far that it drove them to kick Heiskinel out. He complied with sad eyes, and he left with nothing besides himself, his cloak, and his title. He wandered a bit before coming across the Outcasts, and decided to stay with them for the time being. He doesn't mind the variety of dragons, and is glad that he found such a safe haven for all the unwanteds. He gladly studies each of the members, and writes down his research. His den is filled with scrolls, though not nearly as many as Aretha. Though a father to a few, his children seem to take it upon themselves to leave the clan's territories in search of new homes. Maybe it was because they inherited it from him, or maybe he wasn't the best parent. Heartbroken either way, he tries to check up on some of them to keep some sort of relation with them. |
