Biography
A young plague dragon that joined the clan close to its founding, Ventus has never known how or why he was separated from his birth family. Efforts to find them proved fruitless and he was adopted into the clan. Since then, Ventus has risen to high status among the clan due to both seniority and his own battle prowess as the third and final member of Ven and Zex's team.
Due to his size and wingspan, Ventus comes across as an intimidating dragon (especially to hatchlings) but in reality is a kind and gentle dragon. This is never more obvious than when he is with Namine, his mate whom he tends to shower in gifts of jewelry and fine silks. Namine, despite his few dalliances with other dragons, is his one true love and he shows it as often as he can.
His gentle nature outside of the Coli has led Ventus to become the 'big brother' to all of the younger dragons, and it is not unusual to see him sitting patiently alongside Zexion within a circle of youngsters all eagerly listening as they teach them a wide variety of topics, from tactics to medicinal plants.
Inside the Coli, Ventus is the counterpoint of caution to Zex's recklessness. While Zexion is just a smidge faster and more powerful than him, Ventus is generally able to get in more attacks than his friend due to his preplanning. Ventus takes his battles seriously, and often makes it his job to cover Van while Zexion keeps their enemies distracted, to ensure that Van always has enough time to heal the three of them when battles drag on too long. His bonds with both, however, have sometimes driven him to desperate actions to protect both the dragon he considers a brother and the one he views as his father during his early career in the Coli when they had yet perfect teamwork.
