Biography:
This dragon is powerful both physically and mentally. He is a skilled fighter, which is what earned him a place in the clan. He wandered for some time on his own without a real place to call home and that was when he came across an ice clan.
As he had with so many other clans, he asked to remain with them or a few days. He was a suave talked and agreed to provide what assistance he could in exchange for a place to stay and food. The clan agreed and the dark dragon became their night watch. For a few days he was observed by another of the clan to ensure that they were not in danger, but after a few days that guard was relieved of their duty.
His few days extended into weeks. During those weeks he spent much time talking to the clan's heir, Gelineau. They got along well and he was falling for the blind dragon. So, when the council asked his intentions Relius asked to remain, knowing he could not leave the pale Gelineau.
When he joined the clan officially, their scribe wanted to get his history on parchment. They kept an extensive library of their deeds, including those before the joined the clan. Relius sat down with the clan's scribe and set to work. But, all Relius would tell them was that he left his old clan. His position in that clan and reason for leaving he never divulged. He would simply tell them that it was a big clan far from where they were and there were no ill feelings when he left. More than that he would not share and eventually they stopped asking.
When their clan was torn apart he stepped up as the immediate leader. No one argued because he took to the role well and would never go against Gelineau's wishes. He was also stronger than his blind mate and so other clans did not think them weak.
Relius still serves as leader alongside Gelineau. He is a proud dragon and dotes on his mate like he is a prince. Sometimes his pride turns to foolishness, but in such times his mate is there to bring him back to earth.
