Lini

Lini is intelligent, curious, observant, caring, and tranquil, ever so slightly shy and quiet. Contrary to pearlcatcher stereotypes, she's not particularly prone to sharing gossip. However, she's astute listener, and as such, knows pretty much any drama that's going on inside the lair at any given time. This can be quite fun if you know her well enough to get her to share it.

She's sweet, and tries to take an interest in all the dragons of the clan. Nearly all of them think positively of her because of it, and most of them trust her enough to share their lives with her. She's one of the few dragons other than Terracotta the Fae that Ruby trusts to help her in the forge She helps Gemma with library organization once a week, and she's even charmed snow queen Vikeznera, who's introduced her to the Maren that lives in the pools beneath the clan lair.

Her best friend is a boy skydancer named Song. They share a birth flight, and a certain inner peace that lets them open up to each other more easily than they might to others. They bring out a playful side in each other that normally isn't seen, which is very sweet.

Lini doesn't really have a set calling in the clan. She always feels happiest when helping the other dragons of the lair with theirs, and she either switches around very few weeks or so, or goes to wherever she's most needed. She's often the clan's short distance errand runner, which she enjoys as well. Because of her wide base of knowledge in all the different jobs, she can often help new arrivals find jobs that suit them. She likes being close to other dragons in the clan, and all the variety keeps her life from getting too dull. : )
