A quiet handsome charmer, Song came to the lair around the same time as his best friend Lini, the pearlcatcher.

He is intelligent, kind, and soft spoken. He tends to attract crushes from young females with his striking looks. He can be quite reserved and serious at times, but can also be quite goofy and silly at others, although usually only when he's very comfortable and feels it's appropriate. Lini is always capable of bringing out his playful personable side. The two mutually adore each other, and have a very special relationship.

A wind dragon as well as a skydancer, Song is one of the most graceful acrobatic flyers of the clan, and often takes older hatchlings who show promise and desire for learning acrobatic flying maneuvers under his wings, and helps teach them. Although Song is a wind dragon, and embodies much of wind's philosophy, he is also nature touched, or put under the partial patronage of the Gladekeeper while still merely an egg. As a gift from her, he has a very special presence about him. He has the ability to slightly alter the atmosphere of a room as he enters it, and tends to instill feelings of peace and calmness in dragons near him, just with his presence. He is often chosen as an ambassador to the clan because of this, and helps mediate disputes between clan members when they arise.

Song was named for his voice in his home clan. Although he's very shy about it, he can sing like an angel when he thinks nobody can hear him. Sometimes members of the clan will hide together in groups under his private chambers and listen to him when he sings to himself or with Lini, although the listeners are always very careful not to get caught.
