Cater just wants to help, but his confidence in himself has been shaken deeply because of his failures as a healer and a guard. The fact that those failures caused the loss of three close friends has also contributed to that.

He thinks Kiterata is very pretty, but who can blame him? She really is. He is good friends with both Marl and Tenora, and he can make friends with almost anyone. Maybe not Shianzar, but he hasn't tried yet, so who knows?

His familiar is a massive Noggle that was found eating the clan's food stores a while back, and he is the only one able to control it.
