Biography

One Weakness

Long ago, Tremaine fled her old clan with a dying stranger on her back. With only her unicorn to guide her through the snowstorms, she carried the wildclaw across the Southern Isles for days, hoping for help. None would come - word had spread of the lurking kin-killer. It didn't matter that they'd attacked first, that it was three against one, or that they'd turned on the witness who'd only been looking for shelter. They were dead and she was not and that was all most needed to hear. Who could really blame them? Even she had no idea what drove them to attack her.

Trying to keep the wildclaw conscious, they talked. Tremaine learned her name, her passions, her dreams, where she'd planned on settling her own clan, even asked if she could her join when they reached it. When Rem didn't answer her and the blizzard began to clear, Tremaine begged for something, anything that would save her. As the light of the unicorn's body gave way to darkness and Rem began to breathe again, Tremaine couldn't have truly realised the magnitude of what she had just done, or what it meant for the future. Perhaps she still doesn't. The unicorn left her side and has stayed with Rem ever since.

Tremaine is considered a stern, unapproachable dragon by the rest of the clan. Though they respect her strength, only a few consider her a friend. Mytho is one of them, being a trusted confidante when Tremaine wishes to speak of her emotions, while Sasha is more than happy to spar whenever she decides to fight them out instead.

Rem is the light of her life. Despite killing her own clanmates to protect her, and sacrificing a unicorn's magic to save her, Tremaine thinks she was the one saved by Rem. She has no idea how right she really is, and one of Rem's few wishes is that she never will.
