Liesel's son
THE TRICKSTER - The Month of the Umbral Flow (LAST WEEK IN FEBRUARY THRU PENULTIMATE WEEK IN MARCH)
Symbol of the Shadowbinder’s irreverence and dark humor, with a subtle undertone of her more sinister side. The Trickster is depicted as a dancing dragon, with its mouth open in laughter, fangs on display.
Can be… Adaptable, quick-witted, good-humored, lucky
But also can be… Impulsive, unreliable, cryptic
Non-exalted offspring:

Thorne Mechanic Creative | Ambitious | Peaceful Thorne was hatched on a quiet day in his clan, not much was happening when he broke the shell of his egg. He spent a large deal of time with his mother Liesel, who was a wonderful example of both strength and strategy. Though he grew up around other warriors in the clan, he never showed any interest in joining them. Instead, he would find the broken scraps of whatever armour or weaponry had been used, and he would tinker with it. Thorne loved to make all sorts of small contraptions, ones that would tick and sputter, ding and make a little rrrrr noise similar to a small motor. Other dragons were fascinated with his work as he started to learn more about his trade, some asking him if they could have something of their own from him, while others would ask him to fix their chipped trinkets. He would happily accept everybody's requests, until someone told him that he shouldn't be wasting his talent away without making a profit. He started to charge small fees for fixes and slightly larger fees for custom contraptions, and nobody seemed to mind. Thorne is now a renowned mechanic in his clan, and he enjoys every waking moment of his day with the ticks, sputters, dings, and growls of his contraptions. bio by canisVirus The moment he laid eyes upon the newcomer to the Order, Thorne fell heads over heels for her. Alavina, her name was, looking like a veritable queen amidst the Order's esteemed warriors. At least, that's what she seemed to him, yet to mostly everyone else, she was nothing but a rookie. Someone yet to pass the trials, to earn her place within their ranks. Thorne found himself building little trinkets just for her, hoping to cheer her up after rough days of being beaten in training by those stronger and more experienced than her. At first, she didn't care for the bookish wildclaw handing her useless little contraptions with shaking claws. It changed when she found out that this mechanic making sweet eyes at her was the son of none else than Liesel, one of the trio of the Order's most iconic warriors. Some whisper that Alavina still has no care in her heart for Thorne, not when she dismissively sets aside a new gift or forgets to tame her harsh tongue when speaking to him. They whisper that she only cares for the strategic value in being close to such a powerful dragon's son. Thorne doesn't listen. He knows Alavina can be harsh, but the venom in her words is never meant for him. |
