ORIGINS
??? was a young, but full grown Imp, walking along the Driftwood Drag in the Tangled Wood when he came across a shiny bottle that had washed up onto the shore. Curious, he popped the cork and sniffed the shimmery liquid inside. It smelled sweet and bitter at the same time. All of a sudden, it seemed that the ground was rushing up to meet him and he passed out. When he regained consciousness, he was in the Coral Reef with no memory as to how he got there or of what his name was. Most surprising was that he was now an eternal Nocturne Hatchling. Guess one of the Shadowlings pranks went a little too far.

An investigation was conducted into the circumstances of Mists appearing in the reef. They could only trace him back to the beach where the mishap occurred. Apparently the scene had been witnessed by a passing maren, who had brought him to the reef, as she knew the clan would care for him. Nothing could be discovered about who he was or where he had come from prior to the incident. They tried to find the culprit responsible, but he or she was never found.

NOTES
• The dragons of the Coral Reef gave him the name MistOnTheWater. This was both a reference to his markings and to his lost memory.

Can you believe I used to be an Imp? I don't actually remember it. But still, I imagine what my life was like before being turned into an eternal Noc hatchling sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I love it here. But sometimes, I do wonder things. Did I have a family? Do the miss me? Did they ever try to find me? Conch did some investigating but he was never able to find me any real answers.
