Tinny, when he was born, always espoused the Windsinger. He added memories of gales and kites, flight and power to his pearl, and dreamed of growing up to serve the Windsinger himself. His hatchmates went before him, called sooner, and Tinny waited anxiously to feel the call.

He never did.

He doesn't have much hope left, for this dream, but he pushes all his intent and enthusiasm into his new position. As the current, trained Heir Apparent (though Papilion shows promise, and he is slowly bequeathing the Heir's duties to her) and as Phoenicis' only and first general of the forces. He adds memories to his pearl, organizes the watches and the training of recruits. When push comes to shove he expects himself to be able to command said recruits in a pitched battle (he's been practicing strategy in his down time).

Though he feels no need for a mate or hatchlings, he does hope he might find somone with whom he can share his life, he does get a little lonely. Even his (adopted) aunt Leianne's presence (as both his best friend and right hand), or any of his annoying little brother's antics can't temper that hollow feeling deep down inside.

Despite that, though the Windsinger never changed his mind and never called Tinny forth to serve the flight, this prince is happy enough to serve his parents and his clan as their sword.
