Synyster, a night guard for Swampflock (formerly Sanguisumbra), is a rather lazy dragon who prefers to spend his time in the dark, alone. Spoiled rotten from the start by his adoptive father Sangreal, he ran away from his old Clan after being reprimanded by his former Queen, Downfall.

When Synyster actually does do good things for the clan, it usually involves egg thievery or hatchling catching. Before he goes on a hatchling search, he plans a date, prepares himself, then goes on a long journey to bring in more members for Swampflock. During these journeys, he travels all of Sornieth, scanning down every wild hatchling that has roamed away from its family. He's been rather successful at this, due to his playful and immature behavior.

Egg thievery, however, is one of his hobbies that is looked down upon by many dragons- this being Swampflock, however, it is tolerated unusually well. He scavenges nearby nests, whether it be from the Wasteland, the Sunbeam Ruins, or even hidden in the brambles of the Tangled Wood, picking out healthy eggs from their nests and stealing them away from their unsuspecting parents.

History- Life in Sanguisumbra

Gifted to Sanguisumbra when he was just opening his eyes, Synyster was loved from the start. His hatch date, for some reason, was an important day for the entire clan, and they threw him a huge first birthday when he arrived. Studying under Sangreal and living in the darkest chambers in the Shadow court, he felt right at home. Though, he often had tantrums if things aren't going his way. This is because, when he was still young, he was spoiled with gifts of all kinds. He was gifted every week until he became a young adult, where his responsibilities began setting in. He ignored the scoldings from Sangreal and Downfall if he decided a task didn't have a good enough reward for completing it. After all, why do something if the only thing you get is praise? Actual gifts are much better.

A Rat of the Ruins

Having ungratefully fled the Court of Sanguisumbra, Synyster fits right in among the riffraff of Swampflock. He'll often go out with his friends, raiding other Clans and playing pranks on his own Clanmates. Synyster's still undeniably spoiled and lazy, but these days he's having to learn more and more about how to survive on his own...
