The son of Daedalus' grandaughter, Scimitar traveled to Clan Chalybis from another clan as a show of good relations between the two Wind clans. Being a blacksmith himself, it was a welcome surprise to find that Petrichor, the clan's previous blacksmith, had left shortly before his arrival. Deciding to take on that role, Scimitar quickly grew accustomed to the strange clan. He never forgot his birth-sister, however, or his family.

Now, he rides aboard the CCG Iron Drake, alongwith the other craftsdragons and artistes of Clan Chalybis. He works closely with Archimedes, making the latter's crazy inventions in his forge.
