JOB DESCRIPTION

Vilin is one third of the Coliseum Guard. He uses his ability to heal when his friends are critically low on health. When he isn't grinding away for the good of the clan, he is usually tasked with collecting firewood and keeping each of the main fires stoked and burning hot.

PERSONALITY

He is a big sweetheart, but he can get extremely grouchy if he is woken up before he is ready. Vilin hates when hatchlings touch his scales with their sticky paws... it drives him bonkers, so they tend do it more for the exact reason. He is very attentive to details! He is also very aware that his breed is known for their mimicking ways and tries with all his might to never consciously succumb to the urges ever present in his mind. It is a great embarrassment when he catches himself doing it and he will apologize profusely, go so far as to be slightly annoying to other dragons.

EARLY YEARS

Vilin was born in the Starfall Isles but for as long as he can remember he has lived within the Icewarden's domain. Before coming to Misfit Island, he belonged to a clan who also calls the Southern Icefield. Run by a very fierce and powerful Wildclaw named Isis, the clan decided to extend Vilin here as a show of friendship and trust between the two lairs.

CURRENT

Currently, Vilin fights alongside his trusted friends and leaders, Tartarus and Athena. Together, the three of them fight to protect their clan with their lives. When they aren't off on a thrilling adventure, you can find him curled up in a tree with a cup of hot tea, watching the sunrise before slipping off to sleep the day away. On the off chance he is awake during the day, he will most likely be shadowing either Tartarus or Athena, keeping himself ready should they have to move out.

Occasionally, when there are no battles to win and the weather proves mild enough to leave the fires untended, he jaunts back to his previous home and visits with Isis and her faithful companion Jax.

While he is bonded to Elissa, they don't have a typical relationship. Their personalities are almost polar opposites and since Vilin prefers to be awake during the night and Elissa during the day, they seldom actually see each other. She tries to wake up early enough to catch the sunrise with him, snuggling close and sharing a cup of hot tea. They talk about menial things, the weather, the hatchlings. Then she will see him to bed and slip out quietly as he starts to snore.
