In Aztec mythology, Citlalatonac created the stars along with his wife, Citlalicue. This pair of gods are sometimes associated with the first pair of humans, Nata and Nena.

Citlalatonac is a displaced god given dragon form, along with his wife, Citlalicue. Citlalatonac is a distant individual, being the Sky-father, and he longs for his old existence, where he did a great many feats. Unfortunately, there is no going back for Citlalatonac, and so he has contented himself with life in the Naps Clan.

As the belief system surrounding the Aztec gods died out, Citlalatonac and Citlalicue had to find some way to continue on. They escaped into Sornieth and took the form of dragons, and wandered the lands until they discovered the Naps Clan, which already had another displaced god, as well as those who honored fallen gods with their names and demeanors.
